Re: Simple Standard Statistial Test Failed

Sir,

With the single exception of plasma cortisol level, the measurements reported in this paper (Erythrocyte Membrane Lipid Peroxidation, Reduced GSH, GSH-Px Activity, SOD Activity) all fall within plus or minus two standard deviations of the Normal Control (NC) population mean. Therefore the differences between the NC and other rat populations are not significant at the 95% level.[1]

Therefore the contention that: "The results showed that housing in pyramid counteracts neuroendocrine and oxidative stress caused by chronic restraint in rats." is without adequate foundation.
