Professor Edzard Ernst, Director, Complementary Medicine (Peninsula Medical School, Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, UK) served as Chairman. There was a Local Scientific Organizing Committee, an International Scientific Organizing Committee, several sponsors, and a main sponsor—HERBALIFE.
